A 71-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in rehabilitation, Altercare of Nobles Pond provides care to Massillon, Canton, Green, Canal Fulton and other surrounding communities. Altercare of Nobles Pond is rated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a five-star provider and is the recipient of the American Health Care Association Silver award for “Achievement in Quality”.
We staff experienced, interdisciplinary professionals focused on helping you regain strength, independence and well-being. Our therapy clinicians provide goal-focused physical, occupational and speech therapy to address a wide range of needs, including orthopedic, cardiovascular and CVA stroke.
Our cardiac care program is under the direction of a cardiologist and managed daily by RNs, PAs, NPs and MDs. Rehabilitation is offered under the direction of Dr. Paul Scheatzle and offered up to seven days a week. The facility features private and semi-private rooms, two dining rooms, and three therapy gyms, guest wireless, and an extended dining program.

Brenda Pedro, a Stark County native, received her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Akron and her Master’s Degree from Case Western Reserve University. She has been employed by Altercare for 18 years and loves the lessons learned from the residents in her facility.
Brenda is a philanthropist at heart and is actively involved with the Boys & Girls Club of Massillon, American Heart Association, Westark Free Clinic and The Joe Hibbard Memorial Fund – a fund memorializing her father that benefits Boys & Girls Club kids at Christmas.
In her free time, Brenda can be found spending time camping, boating or at sporting events with her husband, Steven, and their 3 children, Claudia, Anthony, and Lucas.
